Meet a proud member of our staff,
Sandy McGarvey is a licensed clinical therapist with over 15 years of counseling experience in a variety of therapeutic settings. She has served as a clinical supervisor for state funded counseling agencies, and has experience directing mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for individuals in crisis. While her clinical expertise is extensive, in private practice she chooses a more integrated, holistic treatment approach.
With a masters degree in Pastoral Counseling from Boston University School of Theology, Ms. McGarvey is well-versed in inter-religious dialogue and trained to explore the spiritual dynamics that are the root cause of many psychological issues. She offers psychological counseling within a spiritual framework that aims to embrace individuals of all faith perspectives. She honors the inherent wisdom and strength within the spirit of each individual. Her integrated approach will help you to release the emotional blocks and limiting beliefs that may prevent you from experiencing the natural state of wellbeing that is available to all of us.
